#9 Beastie Boys "The Mix-Up"

Incredible background music. You'll hear these tracks all over the TV if you listen hard enough.
And by the way, The Beastie Boys have incredible green jump suits, but they suck live.

#10. Terence Blanchard's "Tale of God's Will (a requiem for katrina)"

I grew up listening to Jazz via my dad's stereo. Never thought I'd own my own Jazz albums, but I found this little gem from the 'post Wynton Marsalis era.' The guy plays his horn in air jordan's so it was right up my alley. Very moving album from top to bottom. Cool to read liner notes behind each track.

End Of The Year Top 10 Lists
